How is this different from a consumer sleep tracker?

Consumer wearables measure movement or heart rate and estimate sleep. Axora uses wet EEG electrodes to record actual brain activity — the same signal quality used in clinical sleep labs. It also actively modulates sleep, not just measures it.

Is the headband comfortable to wear all night?

Yes. It is made from soft, washable textiles, available in multiple sizes, and designed specifically for long-term nightly use. The on-ear headphones are flat and sleep-friendly.

How does closed-loop auditory stimulation work?

The device detects in real time when a patient enters deep sleep (NREM). It then delivers precisely timed sound pulses aligned with the brain's slow wave activity — boosting the depth and quality of that sleep.

Can patients apply it themselves?

Yes. Axora is designed for self-application at home with no clinical assistance required. Participants are guided through setup via the patient app.

Do I get access to raw EEG data?

Yes. Raw data is available directly on the platform and can be downloaded for custom analysis.

Do you do sleep staging?

Yes. Our platform automatically classifies sleep stages — NREM (N1, N2, N3), REM, and Wake — every night, directly from the EEG signal. No manual scoring needed.

Is the device medically certified?
